The public welfare performances and inheritance of Fengyang Flower Drum involve teaching students the skills of this art form, enabling every child to learn to sing at least one Fengyang Flower Drum song. Through the folk art of Fengyang Flower Drum, students gain an understanding of the historical changes of the Jianghuai culture.

Fengyang Folk Songs are traditional folk music handed down in Fengyang and its surrounding areas. As a treasure of Jianghuai folk culture, they complement Fengyang Flower Drum—usually performed with drums accompanying the singing. In 2008, Fengyang Folk Songs were included in the second batch of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List.

In 2019, a Workshop Street was built in Xiaogang Village, and Fengyang Feng Painting was introduced there. With unique painting characteristics, Fengyang Feng Painting carries the regional historical culture and folk moral values. Tang Guofang, an artist specializing in this painting style, teaches students the craft to inherit this ICH.

In 2020, Huaihe Dagu (Huaihe River Drum) — a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage (ICH) item — was introduced to the ICH Inheritance and Learning Base in Xiaogang Village. With its humorous content that is close to daily life, the art form is deeply loved by children, especially when performed by its inheritor He Jiping for them. This not only wins children's affection but also contributes to the inheritance of this intangible cultural heritage.

In 2022, Haozhou Paper Cutting, an ancient folk art that blends both northern and southern Chinese styles, was introduced to the workshops in Xiaogang Village. With themes centered on rural life, this art form showcases the distinctive features of northern Anhui. Inheritors and their apprentices teach this craft to children, and it is deeply loved by students on study tours.
