Fengyang Phoenix Painting
In 2019, Xiaogang Village integrated all cultural resources and built a workshop street project. Fengyang Phoenix Painting is the first local national treasure introduced. Its painting characteristics of "snake head, turtle back, nine tails and eighteen wings, eagle beak, chicken feet, and auspicious crown" carry the historical and cultural information of the area north of the Huai River and reflect the traditional moral concepts of the people. Phoenix painting artist Tang Guofang showcases her phoenix painting skills to students every day, teaching them phoenix painting techniques. This not only inherits intangible cultural heritage, but also enables the cultural heritage of Fengyang phoenix painting to be passed down from generation to generation.
Teaching instructor: Tang Guofang, who has studied phoenix painting under renowned artists Wu Hengyuan and Hua Rongsheng. I am currently a member of Anhui Folk Artists Association, Chuzhou Artists Association, and Fengyang Phoenix Painting Research Association.
