The Jiushan Cave Scenic Area is located in the foothills of Jiushan Mountain, 35 kilometers south of Fengyang County, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province. It is a karst cave formed during a geological period 500 million years ago. The landscape inside the cave is decorated with lights, and the various shaped boulders create a fantastic effect. A 1-yuan boating experience project is set up at the entrance of the cave. As a national 4A level tourist attraction, the cave has a grand scale and is known as the "first cave in the north of the Yangtze River". Surrounding attractions include Langxiang Migu and Jiushan Village Site. In 2019, the scenic area underwent development and renovation of ticket offices, parking lots, and small landscapes. During the COVID-19 in 2020, from the restoration of the scenic spot to December 31, 2020, a free ticket policy will be implemented for medical workers across the country (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), who can enter the park free of charge with valid certificates.
