The national level research and practice education base in Xiaogang Village, Fengyang County, Anhui Province is located in Xiaogang Village, the first village of rural reform in China. The great plan of the country is based on education. In order to actively respond to the Ministry of Education's "Opinions on Promoting Study tours for Primary and Secondary School Students" and the "Guidelines for Comprehensive Practice Activities in Primary and Secondary Schools", and comprehensively enhance the social practice ability and comprehensive quality of students in school. The Xiaogang Village Study and Practice Education Course focuses on the magnificent process of rural reform, and revolves around activities such as rural sightseeing, agricultural experience, rural customs, reminiscing about hardships and sweetness, emergency rescue, outdoor expansion, etc. It plans and implements a series of themed study and practice education activities such as "Exploring Red Xiaogang and Paying Tribute to Reform Pioneers". Since October 2019, the "Today I am a Xiaogang Person" study tour has been officially launched, receiving more than 150000 study tour teams from Fengyang and surrounding areas. The Xiaogang Village study tour has received unanimous praise from teachers, students, and various sectors of society. In December 2021, it was awarded the National Primary and Secondary School Foreign Study Practice (Xiaogang) Base by the Ministry of Education. In July 2022, it was awarded the first batch of provincial-level labor education practice activity bases by the Education Department of Anhui Province.
