Summer Camp Plan for Youth from Lai'an County to Xiaogang Village

1、 Event Overview

To enrich the summer life of migrant workers and children of new forms of employment workers, respond to the call of the All China Federation of Trade Unions, convey the care and concern of the Party, government, and trade union organizations, and focus on the needs of the "2025 Sunshine Youth Trade Union Summer Camp" activity. The Xiaogang Village Rehabilitation Base has integrated relevant resources and actively responded to and planned a series of themed sunshine summer camp activities such as "Red Education Study Xiaogang, Interpretation of Ming History Tour in Zhongdu, and Experience Historical and Cultural Evolution". Through this extraordinary collective activity, the 'Sunshine Youth' will gain a deeper understanding of the history of rural reform and development in China, personally experience the hard won happiness of today's life, and spend an unforgettable summer camp.

2、 Schedule:

D1: The first day

Gather at the labor union in An County at 08:00 in the morning

From 08:30 to 10:30, take a bus to Xiaogang Village

10: Arrive at Xiaogang at 30 and stay in Xiaogang Village accommodation.

Content: Stay at the Anhui Province Gold Medal Homestay - Xiaogang Village Homestay, and according to the room allocation arrangement, enter the room under the guidance of the supervisor to change into a uniform polo shirt and sun hat. Carry the Xiaogang Village summer camp material package that is uniformly distributed.

10: 40-11:10 Event Launch Ceremony.

Content: The launch ceremony of the "2025 Sunshine Youth Union Summer Camp" was held in the Xiaogang Auditorium. The ceremony included: (1) singing the national anthem, (2) the person in charge of the Xiaogang Village base making a statement, (3) the student representative making a speech, and (4) the county union leader announcing the launch of the "Sunshine Youth" summer camp activity.

11: 30-12:30 Lunch (Dining Point: Xiaogang Village Accommodation)

12: 30-14:00 PM lunch break.

14: Visit the farmhouse from 10 to 15:30.

Content: Visit the former site of Xiaogang Village, a national key cultural relic; Appreciate and learn local traditional culture such as the original Fengyang Flower Drum, Huai River Drum, Fengyang folk songs, and phoenix paintings; Observe traditional handicraft workshops such as tofu shops, pastry shops, distilleries, and traditional oil shops, and experience the real production and living scenes in rural areas in the 1970s and 1980s. Press the red handprint in the signature room and aspire to become a good young man in China. Learn to be grateful to parents and society.

15: 40-17:00 Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance and Traditional Handicraft Skills Experience.

Content: Group experience the striking skills of Fengyang Flower Drum and the traditional operation techniques of rural wood oil pressing. By learning to dance the Fengyang Flower Drum and squeeze wood and oil, one can appreciate the unique traditional cultural charm of the Jianghuai region and appreciate the wisdom of the working people. (Each person shares 2 pounds of fruit from their labor to extract oil from wood).

17: 00-17:40 Agricultural Fun Experience Activity and Quality Expansion.

Content: Conduct agricultural experience activities and quality development training such as carrying grain with a pole, transporting grain with a unicycle, running with leggings, fetching water from minefields, and crossing jungles. Enjoy the fun of the countryside and exercise your strong physique.

17: Pick green foods such as beans and cucumbers in groups from 50-18:10.

Content: Form a mutual aid group according to the age of the students, pick, clean, and make beans and cucumbers in Xiaogang Village's vegetable garden, and make their own big pot stove delicacies. Work together in the group to pass on the love of mutual assistance and support, enjoy the joy of labor and harvest, and experience a different rural flavor.

18: Dinner from 20:00 (stay at Xiaogang Village, big pot stove)

19: 30-21:00 bonfire party.

Content: Singing and dancing around a bonfire, youth instantly blooms, deep friendship, expressing praise for a better life through sincere singing, and expressing love for life through joyful dance (Program: Fengyang Flower Drum Dance, Song Crosstalk, Group Dance, and Personal Talent Exhibition).

21:30 Go back to the room to freshen up.

22:00 Turn off the lights and rest

D2: The next day

07:00-07:30 Wake up and tidy up small classroom

Content: Learn to organize personal internal affairs and room hygiene in each courtyard as a unit. And personally organize the internal hygiene of each room, conduct evaluation and acceptance, and award the certificate of Internal Affairs Expert.

07:40-08:20 nutritious breakfast (stay in Xiaogang Village)

Visit the Exhibition Hall of Comrade Shen Hao's Advanced Deeds from 08:20 to 09:20.

Content: Two village officials devoted their blood and heart to leading a region towards development, leaving home for six years and dedicating themselves wholeheartedly to guiding the people towards a moderately prosperous society. Through a large amount of graphic and textual materials in the museum, as well as documentaries on the advanced deeds of Comrade Shen Hao, a true portrayal of his work in Xiaogang Village has been presented. Learn from the advanced deeds and noble spirit of outstanding grassroots cadres in contemporary rural China.

09:20-11:00 Visit the Da Bao Gan Memorial Hall

Content: Visit the Da Bao Gan Memorial Hall. Through the introduction of the guide, the campers can understand the historical changes of Xiaogang Village, the connotation of the "big responsibility" spirit, and the tremendous changes brought by the reform and opening up to the countryside. Arrange campers to watch relevant documentaries to deepen their understanding of the spirit of Xiaogang.

11: 10-11:50 Searching for Big Boss Leaders

Along the Friendship Avenue, search for the leader and grandfather, listen to the story of reform, and witness the campers' promise to become good young people in China with their red handprints.

12: Lunch from 00-13:00 (stay at Xiaogang Village).

13: 00-14:30 lunch break.

14: From 40-15:20, following in the footsteps of General Secretary Xi Jinping's inspection, we visited high standard farmland management demonstration parks, had conversations with large-scale grain growers, and interviewed agricultural development.

Content: Visited General Secretary Xi Jinping's Inspection Office -4300 acres of high standard farmland in Xiaogang Village, had a conversation with General Secretary Xi Jinping's warmly received grain grower Cheng Xibing, had practical exchanges with grain growers, combined with their own labor experience, and had a pleasant chat about the new face of agricultural development.

15: Visit large-scale breeders from 20:20 and personally feed black swans and red koi.

07:00-08:00 Labor Experience - Field Weeding.

Content: Personally participating in agricultural labor, experiencing the hard work of our predecessors' entrepreneurship, and immersing ourselves in the hard work required for traditional farming, laying the groundwork for the future visit to the development of modern agriculture.

Depart from 08:30-09:00 to Wolf Lane Maze Valley

09:00-11:30 Geological Science Popularization and Exploration of Natural Oxygen Bar - Langxiang Migu.

Content: Hike for 3 kilometers and immerse yourself in the "natural oxygen bar" with a vegetation coverage rate of 95% - Wolf Lane Speed Valley. Explore the millennium old temple - Zen Cave Temple, which is more than 200 years earlier than the White Horse Temple in Luoyang, and experience the wonders of nature and the vicissitudes of historical and cultural changes. This activity is equipped with one full-time medical security personnel.

13: Go to Jiushan Cave Scenic Area from 00:00 to 14:00.

14: 10-16:00 Geological Science Popularization: Magical Karst Landform - Jiu Shan Cave.

Content: Up close viewing of limestone caves that naturally formed 500-600 million years ago, and experiencing the spectacular landscapes such as stalactites, praised by experts as the "first cave in the north of the Yangtze River".

16: From 00:00 to 17:00, take the bus back to Xiaogang.

21:00-21:30 Summary

The supervisor summarizes the summer camp activities, student representatives give speeches, and awards certificates for outstanding campers.

D4: the fourth day

Wake up and have a nutritious breakfast from 07:00 to 08:00. Return to the room and pack your luggage.

From 08:10-09:00, take a bus to the Ming Imperial Mausoleum Scenic Area

09:10-10:30 Visit Ming Dynasty Mausoleum Scenic Area

Content: Visit the top five tombs of the Ming Dynasty, visit 32 pairs of stone statues, wordless steles, Xiangdian ruins, earth mounds and other historical relics of the Shinto sect, and learn about the inspiring story of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, from a poor farmer to an emperor.

11: Visit Fengyang County Museum from 00-11:50.
