Fengyang has a grand opening today!

On the afternoon of January 15th, Xiaogang Village's second phase of the farmhouse project was grandly opened. Wang Hua, former member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Anhui Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Ren Xudong, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of the Anhui Green Food Association, Zhang Yibo, Deputy Director of the Rural Industry Development Department of the Anhui Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, county leaders Zhu Lin and Cheng Xuebin, Chang Xin, Li Xinlong (Executive Vice Dean of Xiaogang Cadre College), Liu Jichang, Cheng Hongquan, Zhao Wenxia, Chen Changjing, Li Wenshu, and others attended the ceremony. Comrades in charge of the Party and government organs of Xiaoxihe Town, functional units such as the County Cultural Tourism Bureau and the County Agriculture and Rural Bureau, leaders of large-scale cadres, members of the Xiaogang Village two committees, and leaders of multiple enterprises also attended. The ceremony was presided over by Yan Yongbing, Deputy Secretary of the Xiaogang Village Party Committee.

Yang Yongqiang, Chairman of Xiaogang Travel Investment, provided a detailed introduction to the construction and preparation for the opening of the second phase of the farmhouse project that year. The project started construction in April 2021, covering an area of 87 acres with a total investment of 25 million yuan. Reproducing the production and living scenes of Xiaogang Village in the 1970s and 1980s, creating a sharp contrast between the past and present, showcasing the tremendous achievements of China's rural reform and opening up over the past forty years. The new park gathers intangible cultural heritage cultures such as the original flower drum Xiaoluo, Huaihe Dagu, Fengyang folk song, Fengyang phoenix painting, Haozhou Paper Cuttings, sugar painting, and attracts handicraft workshops such as Shengjutang Wood Oil Workshop, Old Wine Workshop, Old Brine Workshop, and Hangmian Workshop. The second phase of the 'Back then Farmhouse' project will become a new highlight of Fengyang tourism.

Zhou Qunzhi, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Village Committee of Xiaogang Village, announced the official opening of the second phase of the rural farm that year, with the display of ceremonial flowers, marking the official entry of Xiaogang Village's second phase of the rural farm into operation.

Since its establishment, Xiaogang Tourism Investment has been under the strong leadership of the county party committee and government, with the care and support of leaders at all levels, and under the leadership of Secretary Li Jinzhu and the village committee, to overcome difficulties, forge ahead, continue to inherit and carry forward the spirit of Xiaogang, and focus on the development of rural tourism industry to make up for shortcomings. It has successively launched key tourism projects such as the second phase of "Back then Farmhouse", Xiaohanzhuang characteristic homestay, and national level study base construction, developed the "Today I am Xiaogang People" red study tour product, planned a series of activities such as Grape Festival and Harvest Festival, and strived to create 14 national honors and 17 provincial honors, contributing to the integration of Xiaogang's tertiary industry and the development of the county's cultural tourism industry.

At the beginning of the new year, Xiaogang Tourism Investment will further implement the work requirements of the County Party Committee, County Government, and Xiaogang Village Committee, fearlessly face challenges, take the lead, continue to tell the story of Xiaogang, and strive to improve, strengthen, and expand the rural tourism industry.
